Art Batis [digital art & design - traditional art]

About me

 

Hi, my name is António Batista (people know me by the nickname "Art Batis").

 

I am a professional of Creative Graphic Design, Digital Illustration and Prepress and Digital Art Generalist. I have a background in generalist graphic design, video animation for social networks, website creation, pagination etc.

 

I wrote the first book about Digital Art in Portugal, illustration techniques, bases and professional orientation. I was a contributor to Advanced Photoshop PT Magazine and APS Digital Art, the first magazines on the subject of digital art in Portugal.

 

I have a special interest in photo manipulation, illustration, digital painting, infographics, communication design, animate for social media and still traditional arts.

 

For years I worked in magazines like Vogue, GQ, Maxima, TVGuia and many others in photo manipulation and image processing. In the area of design and illustration I worked for television CMtv, for Correio da Manhã and Record newspapers and for many other major brands.
